Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

May 3rd 2010 Ahmadinejad, the fraudulent elected president of Islamic Republic of Iran, had the nerves to come to the U.S again. He had the nerves to come to the UN and address the General Assembly and try to defend his nuclear activities. I am surprised that the American authorities gave him the entrance visa. They should ban him from ever coming to this country again. This country is built on freedom ideologies, free press and democracy. Haven't they seen how he claimed power? Haven't they seen how they rigged the election, how they tried to trick the Iranian people? How his selection was nothing but a fraud?
Let's say he was elected with no trickery, let's say his election was legitimate and all those people that came to the streets protesting, all those young people that were beaten up to death, all of those that were held in prisons and tortured to death or even sexually assaulted, all that were shot at, all that were arrested; let’s say they were ALL WRONG. Let’s say they put their lives in danger on a total wrong belief, let’s say they wasted their future, their likelihood of ever seeing tomorrow. If you are that confident that you were elected legitimately, wouldn’t you want to clear your name with a re-election? Why would you shoot at your own people for protesting? No country should have accepted him as the new president.
If you look at the history and what it was before the regime of Khomeyni, you see a very faded version of dictatorship. If they had more power and were more dominant, the clerics would never dare to jump into politics. Clerics are coming from the very lowest level of society. They have always been the poorest of the community living off of donations and charities. Imagine someone who is always been the lowest of a society, imagine someone who always dreamt of having money or power suddenly find the opportunity to have piece of pie. Do you think he is going to pass on this opportunity? Gharaati, a cleric that used to have his own talk shows after the revolution, once said: “if you give a Akhond (mullah) a penny you can never take it back, now you given him a whole country, you think you can take it back?” Some think the regime before these wild animals was any better, some think another revolution is needed and some think this is what it is. I think we can’t afford having another revolution and roll back another century and fall behind all other countries again, I say try to slowly move on, try to make the clerics step down. HUH!!!! This is too ideal; too much dreaming. They executed their own sons and daughters after revolution to keep their possessions. They executed their oppositions day and night in EVIN prison during those days in mid 1980’s. You could hear the machineguns all night long. They would execute them in large groups, young and old, men and women. These religious clerics are more dangerous than Hitler of World War II. It’s so wrong to call them religious, they are only using religion to trick those gullible poor uneducated people to follow them, to give up their lives, to take lives.
There are only a few countries in the history that ever survived a revolution in the modern era. You can’t even call it survival, because the people of those countries are living free lives. They don’t have freedom of speech, they don’t have free press. One dictator is ousted and one much worse has replaced him. If you think the Pahlavi kingdom was fierce, just look back to the past 20 years. I am sure you’d change your mind.
